In the field of child development, the trainee;
Develops self in order to establish good relationships, learns to learn, accesses information, entrepreneurship, generates business ideas and adapts to the job.
Prepares activities in line with the knowledge acquired about the physical, motor, cognitive, language, social-emotional, sexual and moral development characteristics of 36-72 month-old children.
Explains the basic issues of mental health, the child’s emotional development, habits, educational problems, recognition / evaluation of children and the theories, principles and practices related to children’s rights.
Explains child neglect and abuse.

Explains the structure and functions of early childhood and special education institutions.
Prepares / applies dramatic activity examples, plans, tools, and environment studies suitable for the characteristics of the early childhood group.

1st Week

Recognizing the general characteristics of geriatrics and care including geriatric care services
Daily activity planning for geriatric patients by providing self-care
Allowing families to participate in all processes related to geriatric patients and self-care for elderly patients
Learning innovative geriatric care standards and working with heart patients in elderly patients
Contributing to professional knowledge and working with chronic heart patients in elderly patients
Working with elderly patients with hypertension
Ability to communicate well with stakeholders in all professional practices and to carry out infection and patient care activities in elderly patients
Having sufficient knowledge about the field of health, being able to use technological elements related to his field and carrying out infection and patient care activities in elderly patients
Dexterity in applications related to their field, being able to apply sterilization, working with chronically ill elderly
Solving problems that may arise in the work area, applying professional responsibility
Occupational safety and working with neurological patients in elderly patients
Palliative care
Observation of age-related changes in the elderly person
First aid application in emergencies to be encountered

2nd Week

Preparing a daily plan for early childhood institutions
Getting to know early childhood institutions
Practicing leisure time activities
Gaming events Participating and managing music events
Participating and directing drama activities
Literacy preparation studies
Participating and managing science and nature activities
