Volunteerism Students Complete Internship at Turkish Red Crescent

Between 06–17 October 2025, a group of Volunteerism students successfully completed their internship program hosted by Türk Kızılayı (Turkish Red Crescent) in Istanbul, coordinated by Anatolia Education.

Experience

As part of their Erasmus+ mobility, the students actively participated in various humanitarian, social aid, and community-oriented activities carried out by the Turkish Red Crescent. Throughout their placement, they gained hands-on experience in areas such as:
Supporting local humanitarian aid efforts
Contributing to logistics and social assistance programs
Observing community engagement strategies
Learning how large-scale volunteer networks operate
Assisting staff in daily service delivery activities

This internship provided valuable insight into one of Türkiye’s most respected humanitarian organizations, allowing the students to develop practical skills in volunteer management, teamwork, empathy, and social responsibility.
The supervising mentors from Türk Kızılayı expressed their satisfaction with the students’ motivation and adaptability, highlighting that such international collaborations enrich both the host organization and the young participants.
